I have created these pages to document my first experience in world of kit cars. My day job is a computer consultant. I have had the ambition to build my own car for a while now & have always enjoyed playing with cars to a basic level. My level of work on cars stretch to oil/coolant changes, brake disc/pad replacement and fitting stereo's.

I was trying to convince myself that I had the knowledge experience needed to do a kit car. I started surfing the net. Being totally inspired by Tim Hovered's http://www.hoverd.org/Tim/ web site convinced me that I have a fair chance to complete the build. I did not want to go the seven kit route. So looking about I found two candidates. The 5EXi and the Shelsley T2. But even then I was not convinced about myself. Then while surfing on eBay I noticed a Rover engine T16 turbo engine in an as new condition with Turbo and bits. I won the bid on the 28/09/2004 the other half's birthday!!!).
